How do I upload a photo?
First you’ll need to get to our product ordering page. Simply click on ‘Product Ordering’ on the top bar or the big blue ‘Start Now’ button on the home page. Next click on the ‘Select Your Photo’ button; from there you’ll navigate to the folder on your computer where the file you’d like to print is located; select the file and click open. At this point you should see a window with your file name and size. Just click the ‘Upload’ button and your file will begin to upload.
Why doesn’t my file show up when trying to upload it?
We accept JPEG and GIF file formats up to 50mb. If your file is any other type it will not show up in the upload selection window. Just save the file as a JPEG or GIF file and you should be good to go.
How do I know if my photo’s quality is going to be good after it is enlarged for my canvas print?
Our advanced user interface takes the guess work out for you. When you select your canvas print size look at the recommendations to the right of each size. Files with enough resolution for a given print size have a ‘Yes’ in the recommended column whereas files with lower resolution than needed for a given print size will display ‘No.’ Just remember, quality in-quality out. The recommendations assume the picture is a native resolution image of good quality.
How long will the canvas last?
We use professional grade pigment based inks. Pigments are basically finely ground minerals, the same kind of stuff cavemen used to scratch hieroglyphics into their cave walls. Of course, there are other factors involved and we don’t suggest you hang your custom canvas print in a cave. Between our pigmented inks, heavy weight canvas, the additional UV protection offered in our satin sealer, and proper placement and care you can expect enjoy your print for decades to come.
Is your web site secure?
Our site has been verified ‘Site Lock Secure’. Security is updated daily, as you can verify on the ‘Site Lock Secure’ logo on the bottom right corner of the page. All payment details are processed by a secure server, this information is sent to the credit card processor by 128 bit encryption. We do not retain any of your credit card details on our site.
What credit cards do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards: Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover.
How long until I receive my order?
It should take 1-2 weeks from order confirmation to when your custom canvas print hits your door step. Processing time is between 3-5 working days and we ship via ground which is another 3-5 working days.
Can I send you an old photo directly to be scanned and enlarged?
No, we only accept digital files uploaded through our web site. Old photo enlargements are fantastic on canvas! You do want to take care in cleaning the scanner surface and dusting the picture prior to scanning. A little care up front here goes a long way. If you do not have a scanner yourself we suggest you ask around. Generally you don’t have to look very far to find a friend or family member who’d be happy to help you out.
Can I print Copyrighted Materials?
Yes and No…
Yes, if you personally hold the copyright or if you have a release that states you have permission to use the image for personal use.
No, if you do not hold the copyright or have permission to reprint. (see the Terms and Conditions section for further info)
What if my print arrives damaged?
We take precautions to package your print to minimalize possible damage during shipping but accidents do happen. If your print arrives damaged please take photographs of the damage to both the print and the packaging materials (holes, smashed box, etc…) and email them to us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 72 hours of receiving your package. We will handle the claims process and begin a replacement print for you. The shipping company may need to retrieve the items for inspection and we may need a cutout of the damaged canvas area so please wait for further instructions from us before disposing of the print or any packing materials.
